User Guide: Electric Dental Flusher
Follow this step-by-step guide to use your Electric Dental Flusher effectively:
Step 1: Prepare the Device
1. Fill the Water Tank:
• Remove the water tank from the device and fill it with lukewarm water.
• You can add a compatible mouthwash for an even fresher cleaning experience.
• Reattach the tank securely.
2. Select a Nozzle:
• Choose the nozzle that suits your needs (standard, orthodontic, periodontal, etc.).
• Insert the nozzle firmly into the handle until you hear a click.
Step 2: Get Ready for Use
1. Position the Device:
• Hold the flosser at a 90° angle to your gumline.
• Lean over a sink to avoid splashing water.
2. Adjust the Pressure Setting:
• Turn on the device and select your desired pressure mode (low, medium, or high).
• If you’re using it for the first time, start with a low-pressure setting to get accustomed to it.
Step 3: Use the Device
1. Clean Your Teeth and Gums:
• Direct the water stream along your gumline and between your teeth.
• Move the nozzle slowly to clean all areas thoroughly.
• Spend about 1 minute for a complete cleaning session.
2. Pause if Needed:
• Use the pause button (if available) to temporarily stop the water flow.
Step 4: After Use
1. Empty the Water Tank:
• Remove and empty the tank to prevent stagnant water buildup or mold.
2. Clean the Device:
• Wipe the exterior with a clean, dry cloth.
• Rinse the nozzle with clean water after each use and allow it to air dry.
3. Store the Device:
• Keep the flosser in a clean, dry place, away from moisture.
Tips for Optimal Use
• Use the device at least once daily, preferably after brushing your teeth.
• Replace the nozzles every 3 to 6 months for optimal hygiene.
• If you wear braces, use the nozzle specifically designed for orthodontic cleaning.
• Consult your dentist before using the device if you have specific oral health concerns.
Regular Maintenance
• Clean the water tank weekly with warm water and a little white vinegar to remove mineral deposits.
• If the device seems to lose power, check for debris blocking the water jet and ensure the battery is fully charged.
